Hello Colin,

I have a Ricordi edition of this piece and is written like yours. This
movement is very fast so I think that the piano phrase on bar 11 after
5 doesn't have harmonic function but it is only the melodic answer to
clarinet bar 10 after 5 a fifth under. The harmony is given by piano
other notes..the crunch in this way at this fast time is forgettable.
I'm not sure about that.
