Hello, Everyone.=20

As some of you know, it is my goal to write an
unaccompanied sonata, a piano-accompanied sonata,
a Konzertst=FCck (one-movement concerto) accompanied
by strings, and a Concerto (accompanied by full
orchestra) for every major instrument of the orchestra.
I already have 6 concerted works and have recently
finished writing the Full C Score of the First Movement
of a new concerto, this time for Contra Bassoon.

"Contra Bassoon Concerto"
I Allegretto 12' 33"
II Nocturne: Andante (so far) 2' 04"
III ???? ?' ??"
total time so far: 14' 37"

The Dedicatee is Mr. Tommy Strong, owner of the
Bassoon List. He has only seen the first 150 bars of the
First Movement, but hasn't seen the rest of it.

(But fortunately he has seen the completed "Sonata for
Unaccompanied Contra Bassoon" [Jan. 2008, 3 mvts.,
14 min.]) =20

The thing that I think will please more people, is that
I am keeping the orchestral accompaniment (and Piano
Reduction Version's accompaniment) out of the way of
the Soloist at the Written Octave and Sounding an
Octave Lower. That will make it easy to transcribe to
Bb Contra Bass Clarinet, E-Flat Contralto Clarinet, or
an octave higher for Bassoon or Bb Bass Clarinet. Since
there is too little Soloist Literature for most of these
instruments, eventually they will all be able to solo it as
a new concerto.=20
