Sorry as I know you had a wonderful personal relationship with Vince. I have
listened to and have been amazed at his ability on both sax and
clarinet...since I was in high school...(60's). I've enjoyed your
discussions about his life.
My condolences to his friends and family.

Dear List,

There is no easy way for me to write this, Vincent J. Abato passed away
last night in 4am in a hospital in Rockledge, FL. Anyone interested in
details of the funeral service (which will likely be held in NY) should
contact me off list and I will do my best to keep everyone up to date.
The most amazing man I have ever known and will likely ever know; we can
all take comfort in knowing that he lived an amazingly full and rich life.
