That's a remote possibility, but all of the composing software that I am
aware of is smart enough to convert this to the enharmonic standard key
signature automatically.
Plus, even if one were a master of music student who was trying to live
on the edge of modern musical styles, I believe the key signature for
G# major would more properly be written with one double-sharp and 6
sharps, not with 8 sharps, viz:
