I agree, Gary - rentals annoy me enormously, especially when one is trying
to build up a library as we do for Kammermusik. I can see the point for
large orchestral works but too many smaller ones are rental only.

I think this piece is a rental. I looked into it sometime back when I
found it on a CD. It is a shame.
I think it is stupid that there are any small scale works that are
rentals and this is a prime example of a piece that would be played
frequently at college recitals if it was published.
