Stanley Drucker was born on Feb. 4, 1929. He will be 79 next month and past
80 when he retires at the end of the 2008-9 season, which will be his 61st
season with the Orchestra and 49th as Principal Clarinet.

I've had the honor of sitting next to him in the orchestra a number of times
and there's only one word to describe him - amazing!
