Hi clarnibass,

Thanks for your advice and question. I used Micro Kwikset Cement. As the =
title suggests, this isn't a heat-melting glue.

I agree with you in not using any sharp instruments or untested solvents. =
I'll start first with a fingernail and then research tested solvents.
