Hi and Merry Christmas
My Amati certainly works fine with my Bb/A m'piece, although there
may be a discrepancy of bores; I've never really checked. However
for the economy minded the Lyons C has a far better tone and is so
cheap that one could buy one for a one-off concerts, although the
plastic keywork is disconcerting to say the least. Nevertheless I
know of at least one professional concert in which they were used
successfully.
