Or Le sacre du printemps, which calls for both D and Eb clarinets. But, at
least in the case of the Philadelphia Orchestra, the orchestra owns a D
instrument (whether they use it for Till or The Rite, I don't know). The
player isn't required to own it (or the bassetti they occasionally use for
Mozart - those are owned by the orchestra and Curtis Institute).

However, I think the number of professional orchestras which use a D
clarinet for 'Till Eulenspiegel' is very small, in spite of the fact that
Strauss originally wrote for that instrument.
