This confirms what I had previously said about Kalmus supplying transposed
parts for a fee. We have not only solved the problem for the party who
wanted the clarinet part to be in B-flat, we all learned how at least one
publishing company has no concern at all for what the composer had
requested. On the other hand, for people without the instruments the score
calls for, this is a blessing.
Like many things in music, it is a blessing and a curse!!
