The standard tarogato playing style is highly "ethnic," with a
squalling, klezmerish tone, lots of ornaments and high energy.

The wonderful player Csaba Nagy has developed a contrasting
"classical" style, with a beautiful, creamy tone and graceful
phrasing. Many recordings of him are available on Amazon, and it's
the style I prefer, even though it's only half of what's possible on
tarogato.
