Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. (Hi to Sue, too). Howard was my
high school teacher so I'll look at those first.

I want to echo Sue's endorsement (Hi Sue!). Howard Klug has made a valuable
contribution to our musical lives by making so many wonderful pieces of
music
available through his publishing company Woodwindiana.
I see Howard every year at the University of Oklahoma Clarinet Symposium.
Every year, I come back with a handful of pieces I would never have known
about
were it not for Howard's efforts.
BTW - now that I have mentioned the Oklahoma Clarinet Symposium, I might as
well post the dates. They are June 5 - 7, 2008. I know David Etheridge and
his talented staff (hello Angie!) are preparing an excellent program and
rumor
tells me that there will be a truly legendary clarinetist there who we
should
all go hear and learn from.
