Hello friends,

For a research paper (possibly, but not likely, to someday be published), I
seek anecdotes of the tensions and conflict between "original instrument"
and "modernist" performers, scholars, editors, etc, in the 1970s-90s. One
thinks of the British record review circa 1985 that pronounced K622 to be
untenable on a standard A clarinet. While for purposes of veracity I would
appreciate the most exact possible names, dates, circumstances etc, I would
of course withold all identifying information in the finished paper. Please
write me privately if you prefer.

Many thanks
