As a mom, I can say that my kids would rather have a lesson on Christmas
than on Halloween!

You could always consider it a half an hour that you could practice your own
stuff, time alone withot the wonderful little creatures etc. I taught
privately for years and carried a studio of over 80 studnts and sometimes
those times were precious. As to the other, these are students not of
college level and there are times when you have to let the kids be kids or
risk burning them out. Just my opinion.
