Hi Fred,

I don't know about fabric softener pads, but my youngest daughter suffered
terribly from mosquito bites and used to gouge them out - a friend told me
to give her "Betamin" tablets (I believe this is B12) and she never had any
problem after that. Apparently the B12 made her exude a smell that repelled
the mosquitoes.

Alternatively, I have been told that good old Aussie Vegemite also contains
vitamin B12 - most Americans can't stand the taste however (my daughter
didn't like vegemite).
