I have the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 Noise-Cancelling
Headphones. About half the price of the Bose, and include a nice
case. I mostly use them to listen to music while cutting the
grass. I can still hear the motor, but it is reduced enough that the
music does not have to be so loud. And they also work nicely on airplanes.
