Fred,

I agree with your suggestion that it could be Homeland security. I
has some printed material (they were even clarinet related!) sent to
me from Edinburgh, Scotland a couple of years back and it was opened
and searched by the Homeland security... Under pre-September-the-11th
regulations it would have been a matter of a week or two for the
printed materials to get through our borders, but it took a month
for me to receive them due to the increased (and I dare are,
inconvenient) restrictions. Unfortunately, such time delays are
increasingly common.
