Thanks to everyone who responded to my post last week about my injured
shoulder. I did try playing some bass clarinet on Tuesday night, and it
didn't go too well. I could only play a few minutes before the pain
kicked in so I decided to lay off for a couple more weeks and give
things a chance to heal more. I certainly don't want a two-month
layoff, but two weeks post-accident was too soon.

Looking on the bright side, this is a good opportunity to get my
instruments in to the repair shop for some long overdue maintenance.
