Margaret,=0A I'm truly honored to have you response to my silly question. =
I'm saving this email forever! And also because you called me an 18year old=
. I'm thrilled! But I'm 36, hahahaha!! Yes I started my career a bit old.=
My daddy bought me my buffet when I was a senior in High school, but he b=
ought it in April and I graduated in May. I was going to go to school then=
, but love prevailed, and I got married had 2 wonderful girls, and now that=
they are 13 and 7 I decided to give it a whirl and pursue my education. I=
have no need really, but I want to set an example for my children. To sor=
t of teach them that an education is extremely important. After all we nev=
er know if they will be as lucky as me to marry a good man that may provide=
for them. Plus I want them to take care of themselves, and not have to de=
pend on anyone else. So I only have a few more months, and I'll soon be te=
aching a high school band. I'm so excited! I've always wanted to conduct m=
y own
orchestra. So you see the one that's 18 years old is my clarinet! So is =
my spit old enough yet?? TIA=0A =0AMyrnabs=0APlay the music, not the instr=

ear old clarinetist,=0A=0AWhat these gentlemen mean by blow-out is not goin=
g to happen to your =0Aclarinet before your senior recital. It's what peopl=
e who have played =0Aclarinet for many years worry about happening to the b=
ores of their old =0Ainstruments.=0A=0AFred wrote: "maybe having saliva wit=

nt years Dan Deitch has started cleaning the undercut part of the =0Atoneho=
les on my clarinet with a stiff brush to get rid of "schmutz", =0Awhich is =
primarily saliva deposits . The difference before and after in =0Athe res=
istance and clarity of sound is astonishing. I believe he does =0Athis rout=
inely as part of his overhaul.=0A=0A I would recommend this to anyone who =
is concerned about "blow out" as =0Aa first thing to try. The chemical comp=

according to my dentist.=0A=0AMargaret=0A=0A=0A(And no, you can't really g=
