Dan,
If I was in his position I would have kept the name
'Drucker'; to me it's famous musical family name. But
I'm not him, and I would guess that as a teenager,
very interested in rock and roll, it seemed a great
take off on his name, ....and maybe good marketing.
For better or worse, these guys had a very big pop hit
as teenagers. You can find the interview on the NPR
website. I bet you'll enjoy it, though it is
definately not much about clarinets.
