How did "Drucker" get changed to "Rocker"? Was he not happy with his name?

Subject: [kl] Lee Rocker, aka Leon Drucker

There is a great interview on National Public Radio
(in the US) this morning. Lee Rocker of the old
rockabilly band, The Stray Cats, spoke about his
musical background. He plays upright bass. I was
pleased to hear that he's Stanley and Naomi Drucker's
son. I like hearing about family connections. Lee
has a new album out, which includes a song cowritten
with his sister, apparently also a singer and
songwriter. Rock and roll does not normally connect
with me, but I really liked the Stray Cats when they
came out. Maybe the 'classic rock' element of
rockabilly works better for my 'classical' tastes.
