Palisades Virtuosi Presents Special Concert at Fort Lee Community Center
in Fort Lee, New Jersey on August 12

Bogota, NJ - The critically-acclaimed Palisades Virtuosi will a special
program of chamber music commissioned by the ensemble along with chamber
masterworks on Sunday, August 12 - 7:00 p.m. at the Fort Lee Community
Center, 1355 Inwood Terrace in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

This special Summer program will feature five works written especially
for the Virtuosi - Frank Ezra Levy’s Trio No. 2, John Lampkin’s George
Washington Slept Here! (commissioned by the Palisades Virtuosi with
additional financial support from The Hudson Valley Piano Club), Fred
Messner’s Eine Kleine Abendmusik - Serenade for Flute, Clarinet and
Piano, Dick Hyman’s Parable for a Parrot and Carlos Franzetti’s Four
Movements for Virtuosi. They will also present Caspar Kummer’s
Concertino in C Major, Opus 101 and the Carmen Rhapsody, for Flute,
Clarinet and Piano by Michael Webster (based on themes from Bizet’s Carmen).

The Palisades Virtuosi, consisting of flutist Margaret Swinchoski,
clarinetist Donald Mokrynski and pianist Ron Levy, is a 501 (c)(3)
organization that was established to promote and enrich the repertoire
for flute, clarinet and piano and present concerts that include existing
and newly-commissioned repertoire for this configuration, supplemented
by solos, duos and larger works featuring guest artists. Volume One of
their New American Masters CD series has been released by Albany
