Klarinet Archive - Posting 000020.txt from 2007/08

Mark,
Sorry for the lack of feedback. About 18 months ago, I ran an "instrument
wanted" ad and received a call after a month or two from a seller who ended
up selling me a really excellent clarinet [the seller gave me plenty of
information that allowed me to judge that it was not a scammer]. [I also
received a dozen emails from buyers confusing the fact that I was seeking to
purchase, rather than sell, an instrument in spite of the fact that I had
posted my ad on the "instruments wanted" section and clearly stated that I
was interested in purchasing within the ad.] Putting up the ad on
Woodwind.org is extremely easy and takes just a couple of minutes. The ad
also comes up in Google so it is pretty accessible to anyone on the
Internet. Great service. Thank you.
George

Glad to see they're of use. I seldom get any feedback at all on the
Classifieds besides the fact that scammers use them.
