Forgive me, I should clarify.

The bass clarinet in question is a rather odd instrument. As best as I
know, it is a professional level prototype instrument (circa the 1960s)
that Buffet never put into production which was purchased directly in
Paris by a well known clarinet player who may have had unique access
with Buffet. It is rather odd in that it has a partial double octave
mechanism which only vents for the middle (long fingering) B. I really
have no idea what it is worth and would prefer to do business with a
consignment store/operation that specializes in clarinets (woodwinds,
band instruments, etc.). I should add that I am nowhere near an expert
on the history of Buffet's bass clarinets and am just passing on what I
have learned from the previous owner of the instrument.

The Eb is a standard R13 from around the same time. Nothing special
about it (other than it having a unique, round, dark, chocolate tasting,
acoustically engineered through structurally reinforced ionic quantum
mechanics , double plus good sound.. ahem), but since I'm going through
the trouble with the Bass...

Thanks,
-Adam
