Make one yourself! You can get solid (or at least, very stiff) foam
anywhere. Cut out the slots and cover the foam with some tough fabric
like cordura. You can get the stuff at upholstry shops. Then you can
sew the strap hooks right into the fabric before you glue it onto the
foam. A friend of mine made a wonderful bass clarinet case like that
which is less than half the weight of a normal one and (naturally)
EXTREMELY padded. Or you can buy a solid case from SKB or someone and
just put the foam in yourself. I did that with an old Leblanc single
case to modify it for a bagpipe. It was easy.
