Subj: [kl] More cleaning sale....
Date: Thu, 26 Jul 2007 02:30:39 -0400

Once again pardon the sale posting, but I've been doing more cleaning around
here... Got more stuff to sell.

Noblet C Clarinet. In great shape- purchased when I was in college and due
to my career as a sound engineer, I just don't play it anymore. It is wood
and the case is ugly but in good shape. I purchased it used in 1996 so I
don't know exactly how old it is. I have played it professionally quite a
bit, though. It isn't a Buffet Prestige, but it is still a very good horn.

The other 2 instruments are both student Vito instruments. However, both
are not anything like the Vito of today. The first is a plastic B-flat
clarinet. Guessing, I'd have to say it is from the 1970's. The horn and
case need some work. It has been in a closet and a number of the pads are
in need of replacement. The plastic and metal of the keys are both in great
shape, though. It is a pretty decent plastic horn- much better than most of
the Bundy/Vito type horns you get today. Fix it up and it would be a good
student horn.

The second is a tenor sax. Again an old Vito (from what I've heard likely
made by Yamaha for them). It is a funky color- sort of a copper color
rather than the standard yellowish color. It has a few dings but is in good
shape otherwise. The pads and neck are all in good shape. Would be a
fantastic horn for a student/amateur player. Not sure on the age of this
either- certainly not new, though. It doesn't resemble anything being made
today.

In the case of all 3 of these horns, I don't need them and I hate to see
them go bad from lack of use. I'll keep my Buffets, but I just don't use
the others...

Other stuff:

1 Pro Tec Tenor Sax case in good shape.
1 Buffet Bass clarinet case. In decent shape- comes with case cover that
isn't in great shape.
1 Buffet double case- not in fantastic shape, but certainly very usable.
Comes with case cover as well
1 Otto Link 7* metal tenor sax mouthpiece
1 Selmer C80 C* rubber (classical) tenor sax mouthpiece

I also have a bunch of old plastic mouthpieces- got them with horns and have
never used most of them. Some other stuff is around as well, but I'm not
sure what- perhaps another post I'll unload some of those. Probably the
best is an old Selmer HS*, but I don't know the condition.

I have numbers in mind for some of the stuff- make offers. I'll also take
pictures tomorrow and will be happy to send them to whoever wants them.
