There seems to be an incredible ammount of confusion re the Midnight in
Moscow debate.
The term "Three B's" refers to three British traditional/dixieland jazz band
leaders.
Kenny Ball, tpt, acker Bilk, clt & Chris barber, tbn. All enjoyed tremendous
popularity during the golden years 50s & 60s.. The Beatles/ Rock/Pop
revolution put an abrupr stop to the previous situation. The three bands
still manage to prform however despite a more hostile musical climate in
these days of post punk, rap, boy bands, scar, dicoo, etc. Kenny Ball,s
clarinettists - Davie Jones, also later, Andy Cooper. Harold Troughton
