I had a Selmer Centered Tone Bb full Boehm as a kid, and found it very
stuffy and out of tune. The barrel had to be cut down to bring it up to some
semblance of pitch. After a few years of suffering, I sold it and bought my
first R13. I've never turned back.

A nice Patricola C would be a better, if more expensive, choice. Or even a
Noblet, which I play on.
