Several months ago, I promised to add my recording of "Deepwood" by Robert
Bennet, to my website. Well, it has taken me awhile to get around to it, but
better late than never.

The recording is from my recital at the University of Oklahoma Clarinet
Symposium in June 2006. I made several additions and extensions to the cadenzas,
to exploit the range of the Buffet 1193 bass clarinet. With the help of my
mother-in-law, Bobby Jean Frost, an esteemed choral director and arranger, we
added some additional chords to the piano part.

There is ONE note I would really like back, but other than that, I feel it
represents what I wanted to do with the piece, which I regard with affection.
