Here's one for the mavens: my teacher, the sadly-departed Leon
Russianoff, told me that he really would like to find a work which he
remembered from way back called "The Little Humpbacked Horse". It was
actually a paraphrase a la Rigoletto Concert Fantasy. I know that the
Italian composer Cesar Pugni wrote the ballet of that name but I have
no idea who wrote the paraphrase. Anyone wanna take a stab at it?
