Michael Lowenstern has a brilliant new album, Fade, that came out very
recently. Samples are on www.earspasm.com. Mr. Lowenstern's compositions =

performances are quite unique, in part because of his composing style, =

that this not true jazz because the style is neither mainstream jazz nor
