Mr. Wayne,
I didn't mind his playing at all. It's just very different to what everyone else is accustomed to. I am a lover of all music, and the last thing I want to do is criticize anyone. Please let us know what you find out. I too am a lover of folk music, and trust me I've heard some weird songs down here where I'm from.

Forgive me for laughing at the last post, it just sounded extremely funny to me. It is rather late, and I'm finishing up the most boring Fugue in d minor using counterpoint of the 18th century for a final, due in the morning. You can just imagine how anything else would sound amusing to me at this point. I know you'll be thinking WTH are you doing chatting with us then, well to answer your question ( I know you thought it), I was taking a little breather.

I want to add a Thank you for being so kind, and looking at the bright side of mr. macedonian's (forgot his name) playing.

Myrna

Am I the only one who likes Macedonian folk music?
This of course is not Macedonian folk music, but he's
a folk player, and I have been enchanted listening to
such music in the past. It's nothing like the
tradition we have. Perhaps as someone suggested the
liner notes are very old and he was better once. His
playing doesn't seem very strong for that tradition.
Tomorrow, I'll check into the The Ethnic Clarinet on
the bulletin board. See if anyone can comment on his
real skills inside his tradition.
Wayne
