I agree.

I wonder if there are databases on copyright renewals of music? All of
the links from this page that I looked at did not include music.

It also raised other questions in my mind. Suppose a piece was written
in 1938 and its copyright was subsequently renewed. An arrangement was
made in 1946 and the copyright was not renewed. Is the arrangement now
in the public domain or does the copyright renewal of the original piece
take precedence?
