Ted Casher here---this message has made me sad. Efrain and I played under
Russell Stanger in the Boston University Symphony, back in 1956. We
performed the duo cadenza in Rimsky-Korsakoff's Cappriccio Espanol together,
and we spent some fun time rehearsing it!

I left orchestral clarinet playing in 1959---jazz had too much of a pull,
and I couldn't stand musicologists! But my brief time spent associating
with Efrain Guigui is a treasured memory! I was so happy that he went on to
conducting---he was a master teacher of orchestral concepts!

And---to allude to the Great American Profit Motive---look for an original
G.G. crystal mouthpiece to start going for $300 + on E Bay!

Olav hasholom, chaver......
