I love it! Please dish the gory details afterwards.

My husband, who plays violin in two non-snooty amateur quartets, has played
the Brahms Quintet with each of his quartets and two different clarinet
players (neither of them me). He says the complex rhythms made that
quintet one of the most difficult pieces they've ever played, and says that
the first rehearsals would have degenerated into bumper-car rides, except
that, fortunately, each clarinet player already knew the music thoroughly.
