The Los Angeles Clarinet Choir continues to hold auditions on a regular
basis, whether or not there are immediate openings. At the present time
we are looking for one soprano clarinetist and one additional harmony
clarinet doubler (a person who can play/owns bass, alto, contra, or
basset.) This clarinetist should play at a symphonic level.

Current members are active, adult amateur players who already have a
college degree in clarinet performance but work in another field. The
12 member group also includes music educators and music grad students.
The group is volunteer and the commitment level is approximately 30
Saturday afternoons a year, rehearsing in the Pasadena area. .Non
student members pay an annual dues of $50 to help with operating costs.
New members will start after the July Clarinetfest performance.
