I'm usually pretty clever at coming up with acceptable fingerings for
tremolos, but I have one now that is stumping me. We have a piece for
band with a tremolo between one-ledger-line clarino Bb and
two-ledger-lines D. So far, the best I have come up with is the forked
fingering for Bb, and then wiggle L2 and L3 for the D. That makes the D
recognizable, although it is stuffy and somewhat flat. The ideal would
seem to be to raise L1 and lower L2 and L3, but it's difficult to
coordinate that without accidentally getting clarino F or C in the middle.

I'm open to alternative suggestions.
