I have to laugh about some of these postings on Wagner because they
are amusingly reminiscent of the behavior of a colleague in my own
department of the university. I got so angry with some of his mean
spirited, arrogant and antagonistic comments in department meetings
several years ago that I pulled out a nearly forgotten passage from
"African Genesis" by Robert Ardrey in which he discussed an
unexpected observation of overly aggressive male primates. I put it
up on my Web site and I give people the link every time I observe the
same behavior in some of my human friends.

Right now we have another guy on the Chemical Education discussion
group who thinks he can get away with the same shenanigans without
being confronted on his primitive behavior. I'm waiting for just the
right time when, with apologies to Thomas Huxley, the Lord will have
delivered him into my hands! 8-)
