This has been an interesting discussion. Well worth the time spent reading
the commentary. It seems as if we are all victims of our own perceptions,
life experiences and thought processes -- good, bad or indifferent. Really
infamous people usually have horrendous deaths. With another, equally infamous,
person ready to follow their footsteps at another time. And they control
with iron fists and cause all sorts of reprehensible fallout. Since we cannot
control internal or external forces that shape a human being, we can only
seek to control our own individual lives and the debates we enter are only
subjective. Do I like Wagner's music? Not particularly. Strauss? Sometimes.
Politics does make strange bedfellows, doesn't it?
