Fred/David - My long peg was made to fit my height so
that's not a problem. It was also made in a way with
the correct diameter in the beginning to fit the
mount, then it is wider (like a curved step) so it is
not wobbly.
The problem is completely different. The peg is just
too restrictive and I can't move much, especailly
up/down. Queing others is difficult and when I need to
move even more (sometimes when playing with dancers)
it's just impossible.

The setup Henri Bok uses, with some harness that
attached also to pants and the stick in belly looks
uncomfortable, especially when you move a lot. Also
after playing for years (always actually) with the
clarinet in the middle, I experimented for some days
and probably on the side is more comfortable for me,
and the stick wouldn't work too good with this I
think.

I'm looking for a harness that will put the instrument
in a position closer to that of a regular strap (not
so close to the body), if something like this exists?

Thanks again,

Nitai
