Passports can easily be expedited, even directly though local passport
offices. It just costs money. There are also dedicated firms that deal in
the business of passport expedition...and again...it just takes paying extra
money out for the process.

If you live near or in a city with a passport office...you can do it the
same day. Get the forms, fill them out properly, get your photos, bring
money...stand in line.

I have owned a SCUBA tour business for years and deal with this stuff all
the time.
