This discussion of turning off computers for a day - I was going to say
I would if someone would pay me to play (music) all day - reminded me
that I actually do have a paying gig for the first time in years.

Our clarinet quartet + 1, is going to play for an hour, outdoors, on
Mother's Day, as a quintet. I have already pulled together a fair
amount of music, but I am looking for some more suggestions.

We can manage most of the possible combinations including E-flat, alto
and bass. We need a few things that can be put together quickly and will
sound good outdoors. Skill levels range from decent adult players to
professional.

I noticed that Kendor and Western International Music have about 10
quintets each. Does anyone have any experience with these or any other
ideas.

Thanks,

Gary
