Of course, there's always playing the output of the player into the line in=
put of the laptop. That introduces additional noise, but it may not be not=
icable. But plugging a microphone into the laptop may be even less trouble.=

All you technophobes,

I need to record some piano parts for a blind man to=20
learn. Can I transfer the parts to a disc via computer=20
after making the recording on my Mini Disc recorder (see=20
model no. in subject line). I don't have a mic for my=20
laptop and I have never used the laptop for recording=20
(Presario 1275 - vintage 1998). Is there a way for me to=20
load the mini disc into my desktop computer? The MZ-R70=20
doesn't have a USB port (maybe a patch cable)? Thanks.
