Just in case it wasn't obvious, "New Directions for Clarinet" is the
1994 book by Philip Rehfeldt that discusses such things as multiphonics,
special effects, and extreme altissimo.

While checking the spelling of his name, I learned that Rehfeldt also
write an article entitled "The Eb Contrabass Sarrusophone in America: A
Present Day Perspective." I think you have to like someone who could
write an article like that. The sarrusophone has always held a
fascination for me.
