I don't think this is a problem as long as the parts don't cross.

For a good example of how not to do divisi, see the first clarinet part
of the band arrangement of Elsa's Procession the to Cathedral by Lucien
Cailliet. It has places at the beginning where there are two lines of
cues and two clarinet parts that cross each other.
