Yes. This is what string players do. I am trying to imagine a clarinet
choir where there are at least two players on each of the three B-flat
clarinet parts. Now if I occasionally want to write a 6-part chord for the
B-flat clarinets, is it not possible to write as I would for a string
section in a similar situation?

Three parts on one staff would look awkward. I would not consider more than
two parts per staff, and then only for short passages. Would this still
pose a significant problem? I try to make my arrangements as clean and
legible as possible, and I appreciate input on issues like this.
