Dan,

I don't know what Susan will say...but wow....you have in this opera:

Counts
Dukes
Kings
The "HOLY GRAIL"
You know what?...you have a woman who marries a guy without even knowing his
name!!!
You've got a dual
You've got a swan
A healthy dose of magic
Bad guys, good guys

And

You have four 6 foot long herald trumpets playing full out...part your hair,
take paint off the wall fanfares on stage!!! (and the brass parts in the pit
are powerful stuff...I've got my earplugs in)

So you've got one incredible brass fanfare after another..

And you have a lot of very good music to fill out the tale.

Simple I know....let Susan go the distance on the intellectual stuff. My
brain's been rattled, as I sit directly in front of the 1st trumpet player.

Forest
