Okay-I need to get off the subject of middle school band and talk about
reeds.

I have always been known for my beautiful tone (too bad I can't tongue
fast!), but, lately I sound bad. I am sure that it is my reeds and not sure
why I can't find a good one. I usually have at least 1 or 2 that sound very
nice and then a few that are just for practice.

I have been through several boxes of reeds. The ones that sound decent are
too hard and then ones that feel good are nasty sounding. I go through the
10 day break in process, but, for the last month I have not had a good
sound. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
