OK, actually two questions.

First, some of my flat springs are starting to show tiny rust spots. I
think I remember reading somewhere that you can cover them with clear nail
polish to slow it down some. Does this really work, or should I replace
them?

Second, the left hand F/B key doesn't immediately connect with the right
hand one any more. There isn't any cork on either piece, and for the life
of me, I can't remember whether there's supposed to be!!???!!
