Hi Klarinetexperts and gurus!

I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me something about Michael Jacques. I have a piece by him called Three Clarinet Pictures for clarinet and piano which is very charming. The third movement is on the ABRSM b-list for clarinet grade 5. I can't even find out if he is still alive. I would guess that he's English (because the 3 Clar. Pics are published by the Associated Board) but I don't even know that for certain.
